Growing up in a family of homebuilders, woodworking has always been in my blood. From an early age, I was taught the skills and learned to perfect my own style. I went on to work in the family business most of my early adult life. For the past 20 years, I have put my heart and soul into a second passion; (photography) and have grown that to a successful business.
The last year or so, I have been rebuilding my passion for woodworking, and opened a woodworking shop where I spend my spare time reliving the art of creating things from rough pieces of wood. There’s just something so satisfying about seeing the finished vision come to life, and knowing that it was created with my own two hands makes it even more satisfying and the smell of the fresh cut wood never gets old.
Back in the day (as they say), the tools of modern day were non-existent, so things were done a lot differently, but I have come to appreciate the modern tools available today.
